Heartland RV Returns to Mobilife RV Centre in Kitchener, Ontario

Heartland RV is returning to Mobilife RV Centre in Kitchener, Ontario, with the Prowler and North Trail travel trailer lineups joining our inventory.

After stepping away from the Heartland brand in 2023, we're pleased to announce that Mobilife RV Centre will once again be offering Heartland travel trailers to customers throughout Kitchener-Waterloo and Southwestern Ontario.

A lot has changed at Heartland since we last carried the brand. Most notably, Heartland became part of the Jayco Family of Companies in 2025, bringing its established lineup of recreational vehicles under Jayco's manufacturing and operational leadership.

With this new direction, we felt it was the right time to bring Heartland back to Mobilife RV.

A Look at Heartland RV's History

Heartland Recreational Vehicles was founded in 2003 in Elkhart, Indiana, one of the largest RV manufacturing regions in North America.

The company originally focused on fifth wheels, developing floorplans with an emphasis on storage, living space, and practical features for extended camping.

Over time, Heartland expanded into travel trailers, lightweight campers, luxury fifth wheels, and toy haulers. Popular model lines such as Prowler, North Trail, Sundance, Bighorn, and Cyclone helped establish the company across several segments of the RV industry.

In 2010, Heartland became part of THOR Industries, one of North America's largest recreational vehicle manufacturing groups.

The next significant change came in March 2025, when Heartland was integrated into the Jayco Family of Companies.

Heartland RV Is Now Part of the Jayco Family

One of the biggest developments for Heartland has been its transition into the Jayco Family of Companies.

Jayco has been manufacturing recreational vehicles since 1968 and is well established in the travel trailer, fifth wheel, and motorhome markets.

With Heartland now operating under Jayco's leadership, the brand has access to established manufacturing resources, quality control processes, product development experience, and dealer support systems.

Heartland continues to maintain its own brand identity and model lineups, but its integration with Jayco represents a new chapter for the manufacturer.

For customers familiar with Heartland travel trailers from previous years, this change is worth understanding. The Prowler and North Trail names remain familiar, while the company continues to develop its products within the larger Jayco manufacturing organization.

It's an important part of why we're excited to offer Heartland RVs again at Mobilife RV Centre.

Introducing the Heartland Prowler Travel Trailer

The Heartland Prowler will be one of the first Heartland RV lines returning to Mobilife RV in Kitchener.

Prowler has been a recognizable name in the travel trailer market for years, offering practical layouts for couples and families.

The lineup includes a variety of floorplans with different sleeping arrangements, living areas, kitchens, and storage configurations.

Prowler travel trailers are designed for campers looking for a functional RV with the features needed for weekend trips, family vacations, and regular seasonal use.

For customers shopping for a Heartland Prowler for sale in Ontario, Mobilife RV Centre will be a local destination to explore available models, compare floorplans, and find a trailer that suits their camping needs.

Heartland North Trail Travel Trailers Are Also Coming to Mobilife RV

Alongside Prowler, we'll also be carrying the Heartland North Trail travel trailer lineup.

North Trail is designed for RV buyers looking for a combination of modern interiors, efficient floorplans, and lighter-weight travel trailer options.

Depending on the model, North Trail trailers offer features such as open living areas, comfortable sleeping spaces, practical kitchens, and storage suited to regular camping.

The lineup includes options for couples and families who want a travel trailer that balances interior space with towing considerations.

With North Trail joining our inventory, customers looking for Heartland travel trailers in Kitchener-Waterloo will have another option to consider when comparing lightweight and conventional travel trailers.

What Other RVs Does Heartland Manufacture?

While Mobilife RV Centre will initially focus on the Prowler and North Trail travel trailer lines, Heartland has also been known for a broader selection of recreational vehicles.

The manufacturer's lineup has included:

• Prowler: Conventional travel trailers with floorplans for couples and families.

• North Trail: Lightweight travel trailers with modern layouts and practical features.

• Sundance: Travel trailers and fifth wheels designed around comfortable living areas and functional floorplans.

• Milestone: Fifth wheels with residential-style features and spacious interiors.

• Bighorn: Luxury fifth wheels designed for extended camping and seasonal use.

• Cyclone: Toy haulers offering living space alongside dedicated cargo and garage areas.

The availability of individual Heartland model lines can change by model year. Not all Heartland products listed above will be stocked at Mobilife RV Centre.

Our initial focus will be on the Prowler and North Trail travel trailer lineups.

Why We're Bringing Heartland Back to Mobilife RV

Our goal at Mobilife RV Centre has always been to offer customers a selection of RVs that provide practical floorplans, useful features, and good value.

Heartland was previously part of our dealership's lineup, and we're familiar with the brand and the types of campers it appeals to.

With Heartland's move into the Jayco Family of Companies, we see an opportunity to reintroduce two established travel trailer lines to our customers.

Prowler and North Trail will complement our existing RV selection and provide additional choices for customers shopping for new travel trailers in Kitchener and the surrounding area.

We're looking forward to having Heartland back on the lot.
